Logo Carved Jack-O-Lantern…Branding with Fall

posted October 28th, 2009 in Graphic Design by jillharding
Recently we at Boundless Design worked with Colin Clark at Tribeswell to create a logo for his new emerging business. So yesterday we received the below picture from Colin. We were so wowed by the clever Jack-O-Lantern carving that we too want to share this with you. This goes to show end viewers that when a logo is developed and created well the impact even on or with different mediums begins to positively start the brand recognition process with your audience. Below the TribeSwell Jack-O-Lantern is the actual TribeSwell logo so you can quickly see that Colin has some mad carving skills.

“The Power of Peace”

posted October 20th, 2009 in Graphic Design by jillharding

“The Power of Peace” is the theme of the 2009-10 Peace Poster Contest. Lions clubs can sponsor the program in their community for children in local schools or organized, sponsored youth groups. Recently the Morgantown Lions Club sponsored the art students at Indian Creek Middle School to participate in the international 2009-10 Peace Poster Contest. Boundless Design was honored as we were asked to be a judge for the second year in a row. This is a huge honor as Indian Creek Middle School has one of the highest participate rates within the international contest. Plus it is truly rewarding to see several impressive works of art from our youth. Last year’s first place from ICMS received second overall in our state of Indiana and received high honors internationally.

Below are the top five winners we selected this year plus the honorable mentions. BD was honored to be a part of this great project contest. We also learned a bit about our local Lions Club plus met several local artist.

The Vivid Colors in the Great Pumpkin Patch…

posted October 7th, 2009 in Graphic Design by jillharding

July 4th of this year in the pouring rain we planted 200 pumpkin seeds within 50 mounds. The rain did not dampen our spirit as we were very excited and knew when fall hit it would all be worth it.

Autumnal Equinox, September 22, 2009 at 5:18pm and fall begins. We were very excited and eager to begin watching the pumpkins grow. The pumpkin vines are growing very well and are getting very long. The vivid golden colored blossoms have popped open and even a few faint orange pumpkins have begun to take shape.

We returned to the great pumpkin patch last weekend and to our wonderful surprise we saw several vivid orange large pumpkins. The pumpkins were perched is the rich brown soil with a brightly colored green leaf acting as a canopy. Seeing the large vivid orange pumpkins began to make my imagination go crazy as BD loves to create Jack-O-Lanterns.

This Fall stop take a look around and relish the colors that surround you from the deep browns to the vivid yellows even the rich sunsets that fill the dusk sky.
